πŸ…Ancient Dungeon (Play to Earn)

In the Ancient Dungeon, the Play to Earn (P2E) experience is redesigned to an immersive Fantasy RPG experience. DND token will be distributed to adventurers every 12 hours.

Ancient Dungeon is an exciting leaderboard competition. It's round-based. Each round lasts 12 hours and all participants compete for score ranking. The higher score you get, the more $DND rewards you get in a proportional manner.

Let's see how $DND total rewards will be distributed after a round ends:

  • Top 10 bonus from high to low: 8%, 5%, 3%, 1% for 4th to 6th, and 0.5% for 7th ~ 10th

  • Round creator: 0.05% (at round starts who spent more gases for opening the round)

  • Lucky draw: 1% (after round ends, randomly pick one lucky player to win this reward)

  • Other / Basic reward: 62.95% (proportionally distributed to all players) will be directly proportional to the score that you have obtained and the total number of people joined. For example, a score of 20,000 will have a double reward than a 10,000 score.

  • Deferral Bonus: 15% of the reward will be proportionally allocated to winners who deferred their harvest to a later time. Currently the deferral period is 30 days.

This is an interesting part: If fewer players join a round, more rewards will be distributed to each player; and when the rewards are high it encourages players to join the competition and even buy Relic to play.

On the other hand, when reward gets lower, players may wait until

Battle Scenes

Story

Each dungeon(That's right, not only one dungeon available in DS) has its own storyline, and each enemy has their own details when you encounter any one of them.

Oxygen Meter

This is a special gameplay in DS that if you don't act within 12 minutes, you'll get lost in the dungeon and forfeit exploring. It's a requirement for DS to use a Blockchain specialty Future Block to make the game cannot be exploited.

Round Info

On each fight you win, you are accumulating your score. This round panel helps you to quickly check your current Score and Rank. Apart from that it lets you be aware of how long this round will end, it's important if you want to give top 10 players a ranking ambush!

Battle: NFT Equipment

There are four types of NFT equipment you can use for each fight: Weapon, Armor, Special Item and Relic. Among these types, Relic is newly introduced in V2 and plays an important role for P2E, a.k.a., Play To Earn.

Each NFT has its own Power, Level and possible elements. Same NFT with higher levels always contributes higher Total Battle Power against your enemy.

Battle: Strategy

Compare to "The Dungeon" where we spend our $DND to do Special Attack, "Ancient Dungeon" we don't sacrifice our money for it. Instead, we use our earned score to perform Special Attack.

However Special Attack is no free food you can always use. You need to consider MP which works like action points we use in some RPG games. If you spend all your MP before the boss, you can only use Free Attack to challenge it.

Obviously MP is another decision making throughout your exploration. It recovers 1 point every 4 dungeon levels.

Scoring Mechanism

DS is not a simple click to play game, it's actually a RPG where you need to think how to defeat your opponents with the best equipment set while achieving high score. And in some circumstances, you may want to focus on getting a better NFT rather than the highest score.

There are so many factors affects your resulting battle score:

  • Special Cost - A minus part if you use Special Attack

  • Level Score - The deeper the level, the higher score

  • Relic Power - The better Relic you use, the higher score multiplexer

  • Extra Power - The extra NFT power over the enemy to be another score multiplexer

  • Added Score - Level Score x Relic Power x Extra Power

  • Final Score - Original Score + Added Score

What is the difference between relic energy and MP?

Relic energy is necessary to play on the ancient Dungeon (P2E), as you need 01 relic energy to play 01 round. Regarding MP (Magic Power), it works as a limited special attack (no DND cost) resource that you can use during the battles inside ancient dungeon, to increase your odds of winning, at the cost of 01 MP and some portion of the current battle score. You start with some MP that replenishes every 4 battles.

How to determine the level where a player can continue after being defeated in Ancient Dungeon?

The 1st time they are defeated, they can continue from level 2, the 2nd time they are defeated, they can continue from level 3 and so on this will continue to increase until level 5 and will not further increase no matter how much time they continue. Also this is assuming that they have passed through the level that they will continue. For example if they have not passed through or beyond level 3, even if they are defeated the 2nd time, they cannot continue from level 3.

How is the total reward pool calculated for each round on ancient dungeon?
